AT&T Launches Competition to Fund Programs for Underserved High School Students

Dallas, TX, November 9, 2015 — AT&T will award up to $10 million to selected organizations that focus on supporting high school students in their quest to graduate. The AT&T Aspire Connect to Success Competition, part of the company’s signature education initiative, invites organizations that are helping underserved students earn their diplomas to apply for funding beginning today.

Ten innovative nonprofits receive $40,000 GSK IMPACT Awards for contributing to a healthier Philadelphia region

GSK [LSE/NYSE: GSK] and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) today announced the GSK IMPACT Award Winners in a ceremony at GSK’s Navy Yard site. Ten local nonprofits earned $40,000 each in recognition of their outstanding contributions to a healthier Philadelphia region.
