In honor of the BJ’s Wholesale Club opening soon in Kearny, the company today announced a $15,000 BJ’s Charitable Foundation grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Newark. The grant will enable the club to provide breakfast for 350 children attending six weeks of summer camp.

CITGO Petroleum Corporation’s Richmond Terminal hosted its 27th Annual Golf Tournament on May 26, raising a record-breaking fundraising total of more than $34,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) of Greater Virginia. Over the course of 27 years, the CITGO Terminal’s annual golf tournament has raised more than $850,000 for the MDA.
Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation’s Feeding Our Future initiative, which is expected to serve 135,000 free lunches to at risk children this summer, is launching today in nine cities across Canada. The long-term project is Canada’s largest summer lunch program and has delivered well over one million lunches since its inception in 2001.
Subaru, based in Cherry Hill, N.J., recently donated two brand-new Subaru Outback SUVs to the museum. The donation supports the popular Academy on the Go outreach program which serves more than 20,000 students each year, many through grant-supported free visits.
